The Out Campaign: Scarlet Letter of Atheism

I'm an aspiring writer, and am frequently found in another world entirely. Sometimes I connect more with other places than with "reality." Reality is alternately boring or shitty, so I tend to escape as much as possible. I am working on a fantasy novel at the moment. I would like to publish it as a young adult novel when it's completed. I will read almost anything you give me, but my favorite genres are sci-fi/fantasy, historical fiction and the occasional courtrooom drama. I also really dig military fiction, if that can be classified as its own genre.

I plan to have babies most likely with the help of artificial insemination. I do not plan ever to marry. I am also an unapologetic atheist with pagan tendencies. I'm also a walking contradiction.

I'm pretty laid back, but I am opinionated and will say what I think. I do make it a point to be well-read on anything about which I opine, though, so I try hard to make sure my opinions are intelligent, not ignorant. It bugs me when people give opinions or judgments about things they don't understand or know anything about, so I don't want to be like that.
